Q1: I want to investigate the failure of the load cell.
A1: Use the static strain mode to measure the amount of strain in the no-load condition.If the amount of strain seems to be changing significantly compared to the value at the time of purchase, there is a possibility of being broken.
It can be confirmed by the static distortion display function of TD - 700T, TD - 01 Portable.
Q2: Please tell me the color of the load cell wiring.
A2: The color of wiring varies depending on the manufacturer.The color of TEAC's wiring is as follows.

TEAC load cells and digital indicators are compatible with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) which is a format defined within the cells and digital indicators are compatible with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) which is a format defined within the IEEE 1451.4 standard. TEDS compatible sensors store specific information that contain the model name, serial number, sensitivity and calibration information in its memory.

This provides an automatic way to identify the sensor and program the indicator which eliminates any set up errors.

The information is automatically read from a TEDS sensor when power is applied.
